I started my career with Indian Air Force in 1985-91 as Flight Lieutenant. Afterwards I have been working in automotive industry in India for past 35 years. I have been at CEO Level position for more than 10 years for large Japanese and other MNCs in India. I have worked with JBM, Hongo, Caparo and Bestex in the auto components sector. I was instrumental in bringing in several foreign joint venture partners and set up successful projects in India. I have set up and successfully ran several large scale businesses in India, Thailand and Mexico. I have been an entrepreneur for past 10 years and have successfully run my own businesses. In 2018 I merged my companies with Anglian Omega, an international business group into automotive and infrastructure businesses in India.
Together with Omega Group we started a company - Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd. to manufacture electric vehicles in India. Our 3 wheeler named RAGE+ was completely developed in-house with indigenous battery and powertrain technology. The vehicle is entirely designed, developed and “Made in India” vehicle. The company has launched 2/3 and 4 wheelers in 2021 and is planning to launch in Bangladesh in 2023.
I brought in iM3NY a USA based company for manufacturing Li-Ion batteries in India as JV partner with Omega Seiki. Also brought in Jaesung Tech. Korea for manufacturing hi technology Powertrains in India for EVs. I am now working with a French collaborator in making Hydrogen mobility scalable and affordable.

I have been an advisor to Govt. of India Ministry of Industries, MSME for promotion of several Govt. schemes for artisans from 2016-19. I am working with National Skill Development Council on a industry, Govt. skill development clusters pan India.
I have been recently named in the list of Top 50 global influencers and Thought Leaders by Your Story and Leaders’360 organisations.

I am currently mentoring several start ups in Electric mobility, last mile logistics and battery manufacturing in India. I am also working closely with IIT Delhi, IIT Ropar, SRM University, VIT University, DSEU and Indira Gandhi Technical University for Women in promoting Green technologies in India, collaborating industry and academia.

Publications : Various papers, articles on Indian industry and economy in various publications in India. Published book on Evaluation of Indian auto components companies on global scale comparing with Chinese auto components companies by Lap Publishing Germany’2013.

Featured in the list of 50 most important influencers in Leaders’360 and by Your Story publication in 2020. Co authored a book on Li-Ion Battery Supply chain in India with Prof. Saon Ray of ICRIER, to be published by Springer in fall of 2023.
