Mr. Ashim Sharma

Partner & Group Head – Business Performance Improvement, NRI

After completing his B.Tech with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Hamirpur, Ashim started his career at Mahindra (Automotive Sector) wherein he worked with in the core team that launched the new Mahindra Bolero in 2007.Thereafter, he went on to do his MBA from SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai.

 

Ashim leads the Business Performance Improvement Group of NRI Consulting in India and has been with the firm for the last 6 and 1/2 years. Most of his work has been in areas of Overall Business Strategy, New Product Development, Technological Readiness, Innovation Readiness, Scenario Planning, Market Entry, Cost Reduction, Project Management and Organisational Restructuring,

Ashim has developed thought leadership in the area of scenario planning, alternate automotive power trains (Electric, Hybrid, Natural Gas, etc.), Modularity, Mass Manufacturing, New forms of Mobility, Engineering Services Outsourcing, etc.
