Mr. N. Mohan is the Head of EV Charging Infrastructure (EVCI) Business Vertical at Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). He is a Certified Energy Auditor as per the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) as well as a mechanical engineer holding an MBA in Marketing and International Business.

At CESL, his mandate is to enhance and accelerate the development of India’s clean mobility ecosystem, with a specific focus on ensuring the adequacy and reliability of India’s charging and swapping infrastructure. At present, he is leading key initiatives pertaining to national-level demand aggregation of EV charging infrastructure; performance improvement at existing charging stations; investment models for largescale deployment of charging and swapping infrastructure.

Prior to his current role, he was the CEO of the Delhi EV Cell constituted under the Transport Department, Government of NCT of Delhi (GNCTD). At the Delhi EV Cell, he led several landmark initiatives for the GNCTD in the realm of clean mobility, such as the implementation of the mandates under the Delhi EV Policy 2020 as well as the formulation of the Delhi EV Policy 2.0 and the Delhi Motor Vehicle Aggregator and Delivery Service Provider Scheme, 2023 among others.

He has over 18 years of experience in policy development; regulatory advocacy; business strategy; project management; implementation of clean energy projects; digital transformation, among others.

In the past, he has held key management positions with Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) – a joint venture of PSUs under the Ministry of Power, Government of India; Forbes Marshall Private Limited; and Triveni Turbines Limited.
