Madhumita is a serial entrepreneur and the Co-founder of Oben Electric, an Electric 2-wheeler start-up in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Through her robust Sales & Marketing competence, she drives the sales & distribution of Oben Electric’s product portfolio, spearheads the company’s marketing vision, finance, overall growth, and expansion of the company. Her prior experience of more than 7 years in the EV domain along with the ability to envisage a greater EV objective for the country has played a key role in the formation of the company.

Before founding Oben Electric, she has successfully built a bootstrapped profitable multi-million-dollar-revenue company in Technology Research & Consulting, with thousands of customers across the globe including various ‘Fortune 500’ and ‘Forbes 2000’ organizations.

She has been bestowed with the ‘Woman Business Leader of the Year’ award by renowned Jagran Media and the ‘Clean Mobility Leadership 2022’ award from Emobility+ EV State Summit, Karnataka Chapter.
Madhumita holds a Biotech Engineering degree from BPUT and an LLB from IIT Kharagpur, along with an MBA degree from IIM Bangalore. She has accolades to her stature including the prestigious ‘Young Alumni Achiever Award 2019’ from IIT Kharagpur and the ‘Rising Stars Award 2019’ from IIM Bangalore Alumni Association.

Apart from being a doting mother, she enjoys reading and a game of Badminton.
